The tranquil sea – Original Painting

I'm often drawn to the stillness of the sea. There's something beautiful about sitting by the promenade and observing sailboats, ferries, and life passing by. I always have a sketchbook where I capture the colours, texture and the mood. Took a photograph of a sail boat but added some colours based on the mood to create a moody preset to the painting. Hope you like it :)

This artwork is painted on St Cuthbert’s Mill 300 gsm archival cotton paper using Daniel Smith artist watercolours.
